Come relive Gozo’s traditional way of life at this authentic house situated in the charming Gozo hamlet called Munxar. This house has been meticulously renovated from a 200 year old farm into a magnificent holiday house with modern amenities and private pool. The architecture has traditional farmhouse characteristics with many charming stone features. What was originally the mill room is now the living room with sofas and a fireplace for our winter visitors.

The house is on two levels. The living quarters are on the ground floor, while the bedrooms are secluded on the top floor. This is a distinct character of traditional Gozo homes. This house is one of Munxar’s first dwellings. It is just a few minutes away from the local parish church, who’s 1500 partitioners keep our small village thriving. Gozo’s capital city Victoria is just a short car ride away, which makes the location of the house unique, because it combines being close to Gozo’s best amenities and at the same time located in a quiet and relaxing part of Gozo. As you can see from the photos, there are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have air-conditioning (on a pay-per-use coin meter). The kitchen is fully equipped and with easy access to the BBQ area and pool area. The top floor terrace makes a wonderful al fresco dining experience with views of Xlendi Valley. The pool at the back is situated on the cliff edge overlooking the same beautiful valley. The house has free wifi, cable TV, a washing machine and a microwave oven.

We will do our best to provide anything you need that’s not at the house. There one can find a number of restaurants all on the ocean’s edge. Ramla Bay, Ħondoq Bay, Marsalforn Bay and Dwejra Bay are just a short car ride away. During your holiday we will do our best so you can have the best holiday possible. We can help you organise car hire and airport transfers. Our housekeeper and pool cleaner will visit the house weekly to clean the house and change the sheets and towels. If you are visiting with young children we'll provide a baby cot. We live nearby, so while you are with us we will be able to attend to any needs you may have in no time.
