The private pool area is one of the most desirable of any property in the entire village. The pool area deck is 30 meters wide and uniquely perched on high ground overlooking a panoramic view of Gozo farmland and the hamlet of San Lawrenz in the distance. The view can also be enjoyed from the balconies and from almost every room. The outdoor area is south facing, which means you will have the Mediterranean sun shining over the pool and garden area until sunset. This is a beautifully converted luxury house with comfortable living areas. There are 4 bedrooms. Two of which have an en suite bathroom and 3 of them have air conditioning (on a pay-per-use coin meter system). The kitchen is fully equipped and with easy access to the BBQ area. The house has free wifi, a television, a washing machine, a microwave oven, outdoor shower and sun loungers by the pool.

Additional visiting services such as massage, babysitting and private chef can be arranged. It is a friendly neighbourhood and parking your rented car near the house is not a problem, as there are always parking spots nearby. Pubs, restaurants and a grocery can be found at the Għarb village square, two minutes by car or a short walk on foot. Dwejra Bay and the Inland Sea are just a few minutes down the road from this house. The Gozo Ferry Harbour is about 20 minutes away. Ramla Bay, Ħondoq Bay and Xlendi Bay are just a short car ride away. Gozo’s capital city Victoria is 12 minutes away by car, which makes the location ideal, because it combines being close to Gozo’s best amenities and at the same time located in a quiet and relaxed part of the island.

Prices from €890 to €2690 per week. Special discounts on long stays and early bookings. Reservations are made with a 30% deposit payment. Get in touch if you have any questions or if you want to make a booking.

Gozo is a tiny island. All the attractions and sights are not more than a 20 minute drive away. Gozo is an island with beautiful scenery and a warm climate. It's also a tourist destination, so anything you might need, will be available and not far away.

Getting to the house is easy. We normally suggest to book an airport van transfer that will take you from the airport in Malta, to the house in Gozo. We can help you with this. If you want to rent a car while in Gozo you can also book it with the same company. Renting a car in Gozo is normally cheaper then renting it from the airport.

Gozo has beautiful sandy beaches such as Ramla Bay, scuba diving sites at Dwejra Bay, horse riding at Marsalforn, clubbing at Xlendi, boat-trips to Comino and the Blue Lagoon and any other outdoor activity you would expect from an island in the Mediterranean. Popular activities in Gozo also include, sightseeing, visiting historic buildings, sun-bathing, stargazing and watching the world go by!

While you're here, do try some of Gozo's fine restaurants. Many are found by the water's edge, serving great Maltese wine and beers. A Perfect setting for al fresco dining experience.

The closest village is 3 min drive away or 20 min walk. While Victoria city is 5 min away by car.

For information about the village this house is in, you can search 'Għarb Gozo'.

We loved it

We loved the property, the bedrooms were spacious and airy , fans provided and air-con if needed, towels provided the hamper with bread coffee, beans crisps , beer etc to get us started was amazing, plus Jonathon recommended local restaurants and cruise companies, and having a reservation made at the local il kunvent ( great value delicious pizzeria ) was heaven after 14 hours travelling, having a washing machine has certainly helped our return also we had a small child and there was bedding provided for us all and the beds made up the villa itself is traditional and homely, we would honestly recommend any of Michael's properties because with a hosts as honest and helpful the property was clean , well maintained and lots to use including the pool inflatables we used xlendi cruises , the 312 is the bus that goes from the square, once you get the bus you go to Victoria this is the centre, you pay 1.50 for a 2 hour ticket that can get you anywhere across Gozo , i would highly recommend the trip to San Blas on the bus and walking down the hill to the beautiful sandy cove and lagoon , with a bar , food and toilets , its a huge walk but you can pay a man to take you back up in a great jeep ride we used the BBQ and was easy to use there is a shop called the lighthouse in Gharb which we discovered , however Google Maps sent us 3KM away so bear that in mind! we loved feeding the chickens behind the property and the peacock made us laugh every night without fail gozo is quiet there's no doubt about that , but we wanted a mix of total relaxation and a little tourist time , we go both in ample amounts we'd like to thank Pellikan for their efforts they made our holiday The O'Briens x

Thank you for your wonderful review Melinda! It was a pleasure having you. We are very happy you had a great holiday. San Blas is my favourite beach too! I will show this to Jonathan. Best wishes from Gozo!

A wonderful house in a stunning location

We stayed here for 6 nights to celebrate our father's 80th Birthday. Our first impression of the house was wow! It was clean and more than big enough for the 7 of us. The highlight for us was the amazing swimming pool with spectacular views. Michael kept in contact constantly by email before and during our holiday and Jonathan was so helpful - he even bought my dad a bottle of prosecco on his birthday and a gift on the day we left. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but would recommend hiring a car to explore the island. We would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful Villa - June 2017

A fantastic holiday staying in the best villa on Gozo! Myself and my three friends spent weeks looking at places to stay for our week on Gozo and as soon as we found this one we could see it has some of the best facilities, an amazing view and in a great location. We were all already very fond of the area, having previously stayed in Gharb. The villa itself is very open and airy with a light well in the centre of it. The bedrooms are all comfortable and air conditioned, two of which have en-suites. The pool area has a great view across some fields at the nearby town and the prominent church in the middle. There is also a coal fired barbecue and plenty of seating and deckchairs. The pool was never too cold and very deep at one end, which was pleasant surprise for me as I could not touch the bottom and I am 6"4'. The hospitality was absolutely second to none! Greeted by Jonathan's wife Giovanna as we arrived, given a tour of the villa and a basket full of essentials, local food and drink, and a bottle of wine. There was also a regular pool cleaning service and Jonathan was always active by text if ever we needed anything. As the week unfortunately drew to an end, Jonathan came to the villa to help us check out and then surprised us with a leaving gift! The owners also offered to help with transfers to and from the airport as well as transport around Gozo, however, we had already rented ourselves a lovable rust bucket Maruti Jeep. Thank you again for such an amazing stay! We will be sure to come again next year!

Easter on Gozo 2017

We've visited Malta and Gozo many times but this is the first time we've rented a house. It was absolutely perfect for our family. When we walked in I knew we'd made the right decision. Jonathan had prepared a welcome basket for us with all the essentials - milk, bread and the local beer amongst other things. The farmhouse is rustic, spacious and has some wonderful features, but what really makes it is the outside space and breathtaking views. The pool area is fantastic. We used the pool every day (even though it was a little cold at the start of our holiday, but after a few days of sun it started to warm up). We had many family meals outside with the stunning views as a backdrop. It is such a lovely quiet part of Gozo - somewhere to really get away from it all! The views are out across farmland to the village of San Lawrenz in the distance with its beautiful church dominating your view. I made a point of sitting on the sunset bench every day, to soak up the last of the sun as it sets beyond the trees at the end of the garden. By that time of day I was often the last person out by the pool and it's such a peaceful, relaxing place to be - I highly recommend it. The inside of the farmhouse is very spacious and I particularly loved the twin atriums beaming sunlight down the beautiful staircase and also down into the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need and a special thank you to Michael for bringing us a brand new filter coffee machine for our stay! The 4 large bedrooms are very comfortable, two of which have the same south facing views from the balconies over San Lawrenz. In short, the farmhouse is wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for both Michael and Jonathan who visited us a few times and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you both for a really memorable holiday. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we were very sad to leave. We will visit again for sure and really look forward to seeing you both again soon.

Thank you for your wonderful review Jonathan! It was a pleasure having you! I will show your message to Jonathan. Best wishes from Gozo!

A Special Villa!

The Villa was special and stylish, with everything very good working order and high quality. A welcome pack of the basics, like milk cereals snacks etc was provided free for when we arrived. The 4 bedrooms were all very clean and well furnished, they offered combinations of choice of Balconies with beautiful views over farmland to San Lawrenz church on the hill, air conditioning and or en suite toilets, the toilets too were very good and well-appointed with powerful showers and very clean. A fantastic marble staircase with natural light led down to a classical but homely lounge and kitchen area. The villa had everything you need and very well appointed with good working WiFi and TV, but the highlight was the pool and pool area, no small boring rectangle here, the pool was clean when we arrived and cleaned again during our stay, it was south facing so sun from early morning to evening. Good size area around the pool with small garden, BBQ, tables, chairs and loungers and of interest when supping that cold drink while getting the rays was in additional to the lovely views across farm land that over and below the newly erected low fence, there were chickens and bunny rabbits in a pen area just cute to watch while relaxing in the sun. We 6 family members stayed at the Villa, in May and Michael like everyone we met on Gozo was very helpful and friendly, he and Jonathon who assists were so welcoming, however Jonathon who showed us round the villa when we first arrived was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. My Daughter had arranged via Jonathon for a 60th birthday cake to be made locally for me and brought to us on the day of my birthday, this Jonathon did, but he also brought me a bottle of Brut wine and a card personally, and on the usual check over of the villa on the day we left, they gave us a small gift, a plaque with the Maltese Cross.

Hello Jim. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this wonderful review! It was a pleasure having you all stay with us. I will show your review to Jonathan. Don't let another 60 years pass before visiting us again! :) Myself, Jonathan, the chickens and bunnies send our warmest regards to you all!
